Software Installation Requisition Guidelines

  • Users may request for software installation from the Help Desk.
  • Upon receiving the request, Help Desk will check the availability of the software (license and installer).
  • Help Desk will create a Service Maintenance Request (SMR) for the PC Engineer to be assigned to make the installation.
  • Help Desk will produce a Software Inventory Acknowledgment Receipt (SIAR).
  • The PC Engineer will install the software.
  • The PC Engineer will return the accomplished SMR and SIAR to the Help Desk.
  • Help Desk will duly record the action.
